Purchase and licence

Single-store licence. Each purchase lets you use the theme on one live Shopify store, plus its development or staging stores. You may modify the code for that store. Reselling or redistributing the theme is not allowed.

The download includes both installable ZIP files (Atelier and Ritual), this documentation and the full licence text.

What's included

A complete Online Store 2.0 theme with sections on every page, header and footer groups, and predictive search.
Two starting points: Atelier (fashion) and Ritual (beauty), each with its own home page and settings.
Eight custom editorial sections, a size guide, a "Complete the look" block, Shopify Bundles support, and a discount code field and recommendations in the cart.
Cormorant Garamond and Inter hosted in the theme, subtle animations that respect reduced motion, and theme editor labels in English and Spanish.

Installation

In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
In the theme library, click Add theme → Upload zip file and upload atelier-shopify.zip or ritual-shopify.zip.
Click Customize to open the editor. Your current theme stays live until you publish the new one.
Set up your logo, colours, menus and footer, and replace the sample images and text.
Check the store on mobile and desktop and place a test order. Then click Publish.

Custom sections

They appear in the editor with the AR · prefix and can be added, moved or removed on any page.

AR · Editorial hero	Large image, two-line heading, text and button. Image framing adjustable for desktop and mobile.
AR · Manifesto	Featured brand statement.
AR · Universes	Image links to collections.
AR · Visual story	Image with text and a link, to tell the story of a collection.
AR · Routine or details	Numbered steps (a beauty routine or garment details), each with a related product.
AR · Shop the look	Up to four products. Customers choose a variant for each one and add them all to the cart at once.
AR · Bundles	Shows bundles created with the free Shopify Bundles app, with their real prices and inventory.
AR · FAQ	Question and answer accordion.

Product page

Size guide

Create a page (Online Store → Pages) with your size chart. Then add the AR · Size guide block to the product template and choose that page. To use a different guide on a specific product, create the product metafield custom.size_guide of type "Page": when it has a value, it takes priority over the block's page.

Complete the look

Create the product metafield custom.complete_the_look of type "List of products" and assign matching pieces on each product. Add the AR · Complete the look block to the product template. Set up bundle discounts in Shopify's Discounts.

Variants, filters and search

Price, stock and images are managed on each product. Collection filters are enabled with the free Search & Discovery app.

Cart

Cart drawer enabled by default (Theme settings → Cart).
Discount code field: customers can apply and remove discount codes from the cart. Shopify calculates all amounts.
Complementary products: choose up to three. Sold-out products and products already in the cart are hidden.

Theme settings

In Theme settings → Atelier / Ritual:

Visual direction: Atelier or Ritual.
Show sample photography: turn it off once you have uploaded your images. Sections without their own image will stop using the samples.
Subtle animations: also turned off automatically when the device requests reduced motion.
Bundled editorial typefaces: turn it off to choose other fonts under Typography.

Languages

The theme editor appears in English or Spanish depending on your admin language. Storefront text includes Dawn's translations and the theme's own messages in English and Spanish. The sample home page copy is in Spanish: change it in the editor, or translate it with the free Translate & Adapt app if you sell in several languages.

Before launch

Replace every sample image and turn off "Show sample photography".
Check logo, favicon, menus, footer, social links and policies.
Test variants, sold-out products, search, filters, cart, discount codes and a complete test order.
Customize checkout in Settings → Checkout. The demo uses a simulated checkout; the theme uses Shopify's real checkout.

Support

Support covers installation, setting up the theme's features and fixing theme bugs. It does not include custom development, third-party apps or general store setup. Include your store URL and the theme version (shown in Online Store → Themes) when you contact us.
